Crown small groups are a 10-week study providing a biblical perspective for handling money. Crown is a curriculum offering for new or current small groups, rather than a separate class or independent group ministry because we believe that sustained life change happens best within the context of structured, intentional relationships. We believe that small groups best foster this environment.

WHO IS IT FOR?
The Crown study is for any new or existing small group that desires to learn and apply biblical stewardship principles for everyday life while building lasting friendships in a small group setting. This study is led by trained and certified leaders that will walk participants through this 10-week process. If an existing small group wants to complete this Crown study on their own, the leader will need to go through the necessary training to be able to do so. If that is not an option, there are "workshop" style studies that can be done over a period of 6-weeks which don't require any training in advance.

WHAT CAN I EXPECT?
The small group study is an in-depth study of what scripture teaches about money and possessions. Graduates have confirmed that marriages are being strengthened and individuals are finding their way out of debt. They are also becoming consistent savers, generous givers, and prudent consumers. Most importantly, people are entering into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ as they learn to apply His Word. Groups meet for 2 hours every week and include scripture memorization and interactive discussions.

There are four requirements for students participating in this study:

1. Daily prayer for each member of your group
2. Memorize one assigned scripture each week
3. Complete weekly homework assignments-both Bible study and practical application. (approximately 2 hours of homework per week)
4. Attend a minimum of 8 of the 10 classes

WHAT DO I NEED?
The Crown materials include three books: Your Money Counts, Crown Group Member Manual, and Practical Application Workbook. They will be available for purchase at the first class meeting.

Individual Set: $45

Couples Set: $55 (includes an additional Crown Group Member Manual)

Next Classes are available beginning September 16 or 18.
