40 Days in the Word will inspire every person to Love the Word, Learn the Word and Live the Word!
40 Days in the Word is a journey of eternal significance and each person will not only learn how to be "hearers" of the Word, but also to become "doers" of the Word.
The initiative (sermon series and small groups) begins on Sunday, February 19 and will focus on six areas:
Session/Week 1: Pronounce It!
Session/Week 2: Picture It!
Session/Week 3: Probe It!
Session/Week 4: Paraphrase It!
Session/Week 5: Personalize It! and Pray It!
Session/Week 6: Principles of Bible Interpretation

Our goal is to connect 500 people into 50 different small groups as we launch the 40 Days in the Word initiative. There are three ways you can get involved in the 40 Days Group Study:
Already in an existing Group? - If you're already in a group we would really encourage you and your group to participate in this group study. Why? Because our goal is to have the entire church participate in this amazing opportunity of spiritual growth. On top of that, Jimmy will be preaching on this series for six weeks and if your group is not doing the study, you will not get the full extent out of the teaching. If you're already doing a study, take a break from it for the six weeks and come back to it. You won't regret it!
Register
Facilitate your own small group by inviting people within your relational circle to participate. You could invite friends, family, co-workers, neighbors, anybody you feel close to and that you would want to do this six week study with.
You don't need to be a Biblical scholar to do this either! All you need is to be somewhat social, willing to open up your home or office, serve a snack, press play on a DVD player and facilitate your group
members through the workbook you'll have. That's it!!
You pick the day, time and location you meet and we will provide you with the DVD. The workbooks are available for pick up at the church for only $10.00 each. The only other thing we ask of you is to attend a brief 30 minute training session to get you off on the right foot. The training sessions are at the church on these dates and times; Thursday, February 9 at 7:00pm, Sunday, February 12 at 9:30 or 10:30, or Monday, February 13 at 7:00pm.
Please note - If you are an existing small group, training is not required. Also, the workbooks and DVD's will be available beginning on Sunday, January 29th at the 40 Days Resource Center at the church.
Register
Join a group that we set-up for you! Register to join a new small group that will be formed by the church on Sunday nights, beginning Sunday, February 19 and lasting six consecutive weeks. We will end on Sunday, March 25. These groups are organized by season of life; i.e. Empty Nesters, Couples with no kids, Couples with teens, Single parents, Men's, Women's, etc.
These groups will meet at the church every week and start by meeting in the Cafe from 6:00pm - 8:00pm. Childcare will not be available because we will be using all the rooms in the building to accommodate the number of groups that will be meeting.
